It’s official. PG&E caused another fire.

State fire officials have conclusively determined PG&E power lines ignited the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County that destroyed 19,000 buildings, left tens of thousands homeless and killed 85 people. More than a decade of negligence, corruption, management, greed and criminal action by PG&E has left dozens and scarred communities, tens of thousand of victims and nearly 100 dead.

2010 – The San Bruno pipeline explosion killed 8 people and injured 58 others

2016 – PG&E became a convicted felon when a federal grand jury found the utility guilty of committing crimes before and after the San Bruno Disaster

2017 – PG&E sparked dozens of fires and wiped out thousands of homes causing billions of dollars in damages

2018 PG&E guilty again

Now PG&E is trying to ensure their customers are on the hook to pay the bill for their long history of missteps and destruction.
